As the nuclear industry enters a renaissance, Vysus Group is strengthening its capacity to support new build projects, small modular reactors, and the continued operation of existing reactors. To meet the growing needs of our clients, we are establishing a nuclear service line based in Rotterdam to serve clients across mainland Europe. 

The Role 
We are seeking a Nuclear Consultant to join our Rotterdam office. This role will involve diverse assignments within nuclear safety and risk analysis, supporting nuclear power plants, research organizations, non-reactor facilities, and regulatory authorities. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct deterministic and probabilistic safety analyses (PSA), including fault tree/event tree analysis. 

• Support licensing-related assignments. 

• Engineering and design review 

• Utilize specialized nuclear industry tools, such as RiskSpectrum. 

• Deliver state-of-the-art solutions to clients in a dynamic and fast-evolving nuclear industry. 

Your Profile 

Required Qualifications 

• MSc in nuclear engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related field. 

• Proficiency in writing reports and delivering presentations in both English and Dutch. 

• Experience in Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA).

• Experience in Deterministic Safety Assessment (DSA).

• Familiarity with fault tree and event tree analysis. 

• Experience with deterministic tools such as MELCOR, RELAP5, and CFD Experience in RiskSpectrum. 

• Valid driver’s license (due to client site visits).
