Your role: 

As a Senior Nuclear Consultant, you’ll play a critical role in delivering cutting-edge solutions within nuclear safety and risk analysis across Sweden and internationally. Relevant clients could be nuclear power plants, small modular reactor (SMR) developers, research facilities, non-nuclear sites, and regulatory authorities. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Safety and licensing related assignments, such as preliminary safety analysis reports (PSAR) development. 

  • Supporting new built projects in risk-informed design principles. 

  • Performing probabilistic safety assessments (PSA), including fault tree and event tree analyses and utilising specialised nuclear industry tools, such as RiskSpectrum. 

  • Supporting nuclear emergency preparedness. 

  • Mentoring and supporting junior consultants within assignments. 

What we’re looking for: 

To excel in this role, you’ll need: 

  • An MSc in engineering or a related field. 

  • At least 3 years of experience in the nuclear industry. 

  • Experience working with nuclear safety and licensing documentation, deterministic and/or probabilistic safety analyses. 

  • Professional-level fluency in Swedish and English (written and spoken). 

  • A valid driver’s license, as travel to client sites is required. 

Preferred experience: 

  • Management experience working as a line manager and/or project manager.
